There are a few tools which I return to frequently to accomplish the basic tasks showcased on this site.
I have a desktop computer running Linux Mint, and use a mechanical keyboard (a KeyChron Q6 Max).
Writing
In the virtual world, I do most of my writing inside LibreOffice Writer and take most of my notes in Obsidian. When I finish something, and it needs printing, I will type-set it either within Writer (if simple) or Scribus, which is a open-source desktop publishing programme. I use the JavaScript app Bookbinder to impose my finished PDFs.
In the real world, which I tend to spend most of my time in, I write in notebooks with a pencil. I have an assemblage of notebooks which varies in format and style depending on my current bookmaking experiments – they are prototypes or failed first attempts.
